Sisterhood Seminar 2024 Delivers Skill-Building with Stellar Support

The Sisterhood Seminar was more than just an event – it was a movement. A movement of 40 incredible women from across the Midwest and beyond, united in our quest for service, self-improvement, and community.

-Autumn Kastein, Mrs. Galaxy International 2024

-Crystal Cavey, International Pageant Coach and Mrs. Galaxy International 2020-2023

When pageant ICONS Crystal Cavey and Autumn Kastein join forces to create a coaching event centered around building a community of sisterhood and self-improvement — you KNOW it’s going to be EPIC — and the 2024 Sisterhood Seminar absolutely delivered!

40 incredible women, spanning all age ranges, pageant systems, locations, backgrounds, and passions gathered together to learn, support, and serve for this event. Leaders Cavey and Kastein have truly created a STELLAR example of how to authentically provide opportunities for women to support other women.

SERVICE: This group made a tangible impact through various collection drives, walks, and fundraising efforts — collecting over 2000 personal hygiene products for Champions of Fond du Lac and contributing to a wide variety of other charities. The day following the seminar, participants also contributed to and volunteered for the 4th annual FREE community baby shower, serving 102 families with over 10,000 donated baby items. (Read more about that event here.)

SKILL-BUILDING: The day was filled with rotations of coaching sessions to build skills that will benefit the ladies on the pageant stage, interview room, community, career, and beyond. Participants received coaching on public speaking, introductions, sharing platform and community service missions, and panel interviews. Even better than receiving the coaching was being surrounded by a group of women cheering you on while you tried your best, received feedback for improvement, and tried again.

SEMINARS: During seminar portions of the event, participants delved into the importance of mental health, manifesting their dreams, broadening community involvement, networking, personal branding, leadership, and cultivating a positive attitude. Participants were afforded many opportunities to share individually, reflect personally, and partner with other women to discuss and learn as a group. Through these opportunities, the ladies shared personal stories, struggles, and triumphs.

All day these women uplifted and supported one another, creating a safe space for vulnerability and growth facilitated by their fearless facilitators. When the their time together came to a close, each woman left feeling a sense of both LOVE and LEADERSHIP — which just so happens to be the core values of Crystal and Autumn.
