“I chose to join Prime Pageants because this system was unlike any other pageant system I had seen before!” says Teylor Emch, the reigning Ms. Prime 2023. Teylor’s enthusiasm for Prime Pageants stems from its unique approach to contestant relationships, goal setting, and unwavering support throughout each queen’s reign. “I was craving an atmosphere where I could hold myself accountable and make friends with ambitious women across the country, and that’s exactly what Prime has given me.”

Rising Through the Ranks
Teylor’s pageant journey with Prime began in 2021 as the inaugural Ms. Ohio Prime Division 3. She swiftly ascended to win her first national title as Ms. USA Prime Division 3 in 2022, and ultimately, her current title of Ms. Prime in 2023. With a background in theater, modeling, and competitive bodybuilding, Teylor is no stranger to the stage. At 32, she resides in Marysville, Ohio with her fiancé, Dylan, and their three miniature dachshunds. When she’s not dazzling on stage, Teylor works full-time as a Senior Designer for a restaurant and hospitality development company and enjoys iced coffee, walks in the park, and home-cooked meals.
Making a Difference: New Kids Can
One of Teylor’s proudest accomplishments during her reign has been the creation of her scholarship program, New Kids Can. This initiative was inspired by her personal experience of moving schools five times throughout high school. “I wanted to create scholarships for high school students pursuing a college degree who may be at a disadvantage when it comes to extracurriculars, sports, clubs, and class credits—all things that college applications want to see.” In May 2024, Teylor awarded her first scholarship winner, marking a significant milestone in her mission to support students in need.

As Ms. Prime 2023, Teylor aims to support this year’s class of remarkable USA queens and create unforgettable memories together. Her goal is to leave a lasting legacy with Prime Pageants that will resonate with future queens. “I want to continue working on myself, being present, and soaking in all that this opportunity has to offer me.”
Inspiring Others
“My favorite part of being a reigning Prime queen is sharing the mission of Prime Pageants with new people,” Teylor says. She understands that many women crave healthy environments where they are challenged, heard, and supported but may be hesitant to take the leap. “What if I look silly?” “I don’t look like a typical pageant queen.” “My friends and family are going to judge me.” These are common concerns Teylor has heard, and ones she once had herself. “But I love being able to reassure a woman that we can look silly together, have fun, and achieve some incredible goals because there was a time that I needed someone to do the same for me.”
